Kim Covington received her J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1998. She received her Bachelors Degree from Oregon State University when she graduated summa cum laude in 1992.
Since 1998, Kim has focused her practice in the areas of domestic relations and Chapter 7 personal bankruptcies. Her domestic relations practice includes divorce (contested and uncontested), legal separations, unmarried partner's domestic rights (same sex or opposite sex), custody, modifications (of all types, such as custody, parenting time, child support, or spousal support), child support, spousal support, property division, retirement division, and adoptions. Kim specialty in debtor protection under the bankruptcy code includes assisting clients in filing Chapter 7 personal bankruptcies and guiding them to the "fresh start" that bankruptcy was meant to provide.
Kim was named in the Metropolitan Who's Who in May, 2007.

Kim enjoys doing sports with her son, age 11, when she is not working. Kim has volunteered in different youth soccer leagues as a coach and as an assistant coach, to help in her son's soccer activities. Kim also enjoys exercising in her spare time. She enjoys jogging, biking, swimming and lifting weights.
